Never have I seen such wonderful CG & 3D effects work combined.
Really cool story, too. I dig the allusions. Definitely one of the most interesting & creative films I've seen for a very, very long time. IT IS A COOL MOVIE.

Anyways, everyone stayed at my house for like 2 days, which was pleasant, except for their disposition toward loud video game volume, but hey. We ate at a few places. Opened presents & effectively trashed my living room. Next time everyone comes over, I resolve that I will make them pick all their trash up within an hour of having tossed it on the table or floor. Just because it's my house doesn't mean you can chill all the time. Besides my friends being total slobs, [jk, I love you guys] we had some funs. They played LFD2 & some other games all freaking day. Especially LFD2. They just wouldn't stop. God damnit.

I have realized that the reason I'm not such a fan of shooter games is that I prefer real guns to gamepads. If there were gun-shaped controllers like at the arcades that one could take home & use for a shooter, that might be cool. But the more I observed my friends playing LFD2 the other day [they played all freaking day] the more I wanted to go play laser tag or something. OMG, it has been so long since I've played laser tag. Or had a watergun fight. I think some crazy day I want to armor-up & try some paintball. There's nothing quite like actually dashing around between obstacles & firing at other players, testing your aim & reactions in real time. Or maybe I just like shooting people.

*sigh*
Don't ya hate it when you have things to do, but then you just really, really don't feel like getting off the floor?

Okay, so howsabout this: day after tomorrow... or today, Merry Christmas, it's 12:03am at his moment... but yeah, on the 26th, what say we all gather at my place to exchange gifts, drink the hot cocoa with the little marshmallows, & perhaps play some good ol' N to celebrate the holiday spirit? [_{BRING THE N, NAZ.}] Ain't nothin' like sharin' your pain & frustration with good friends & cocoa. We can set down by my wondrous, magnificent tree & laugh at the presents we got for each other. By golly, I have got to say that I have outdone myself with the tree this year. My finest work by far. Mhm-mm.

Anyway, I don't expect anyone to have anything important to do the day after Christmas, & if you do, then you have got to chill the frick out. If anyone reads this before the 26th, or on the morning of the 26th, or something, then please call. If no one calls, I'll probably call Octo because I'm pretty sure she won't have anything to do. And she'd probably be several people's rides. Unless Psych can drive someone over. OMG, if she has anything to do, we have got to track 'er down & make 'er open 'er present before we kill 'er & put 'er out of 'er misery. Grr. Rambling to myself now, aren't I? Oh well.

Tomorrow- Today, I mean, I've got to go to Los Lunas to visit Mema. I'll probably spend all morning re-dyeing my hair & freaking out & may later have to drive back to Albuquirky near dark, so remember- if you would like to call today, hang up & try again if I don't answer in 4 rings. Otherwise, it'll transfer to dad's phone & he'll call you back in case you're a potential patient, then call me to tell me my friends are trying to call & why isn't my phone on, & I'll have to pretend that I was outside feeding the dogs & left my phone inside & it did the weird transfer thing, as a ruse for my having been to Mema's. Don't even ask about why I have to lie about visiting my godmother.

Anyways, finals. Sahn ahv ah beeeeetch.
At least I have extra time tomorrow to work on that project I totally put off 'till now. And all I have to do over the holiday is work on a few pictures & a lampshade & possibly another accordion-paper & a poem & I may need to shovel gravel & entertain my ravenous friends. I had other stuff I wanted to do, but I'll be lucky getting half of all that done. Because I am a sslllaaaackeeeerrrr.

One of these days, my room will be clean & orderly & I will have shelves & cabinets & I will be able to see parts of the floor that I haven't seen in years. Unfortunately, shelves, cabinets & even storage blocks = sad wallet time. Even though he will buy himself 6 new pairs of shoes on the spot, dad seems to expect me, come February, to be able to pay for my own car, cell phone & college tuition, not to mention bills, taxes & possible insurance costs. Sure I've got that annuity cash coming in, but it's not enough to cover everything. And I don't think I could maintain a job well enough without a car. Even if I got accepted at the Starbucks close to my house where Naz works, I can't be asking for rides all the time. And I probably wouldn't go to college except that artsy jobs are hard to find if you don't have a paper from a school that says you're good. So unless I'm at least granted a trashcan on wheels, it looks like my room is gonna havta stay that way for a damn long while. And if dad doesn't move out when I'm 18, like he's said he would all these years, then I may just have to shoot the demented old bastard. I am NOT paying for his goddamned food, or for those goddamned dogs' food, goddamnit.
