Ha ha ha ha ha ha HA~~~! OMG, the new season of Project Runway started last night!
Sort of an unfair first challenge, making them use unconventional materials found in a produce store, seeing how these people are probably unused to anything but fabric. Thus, the large number of people using tablecloth. Oh well, a truly creative mind can work with a number of various media. The guy who used plastic cups was genius, as was the winning girl who did the vaccuum- cleaner bags & coffee strainers dress.
I get so many ideas from that show. I would've gone for classy lolita with white coffe strainers dyed pale blue & garbage bags for ruffles. I've drawn out the main idea, & gosh would it be fun to make. If I didn't already need about 20 belts & a colorful handbag for that other dress idea, [& a few more rolls of ribbon for the one I'm already modifying, & about 7 books & 2 pairs of the new Converse] then I might actually consider buying lots & lots of strainers & a few black trashbags to make it. Then perhaps I would wear it down the street under a jacket & let people guess what it's made of.
If I had a billion dollars, I'd invest part of it, save part of it & use the rest for these crazy things I come up with. I could get the materials for that cloak thing Naz's friend was asking about, because now I have an idea for that. And even now, I'm planning the layout for this jacket- majigg I've been fixing up. I've been working out the shading on the belated pixel ID that I am trying to finish, & keep thinking of things to draw.
And then I keep getting distracted while drawing that picture of all my OC's as pirates.
[Turns out, they're on a beach & only Jes, Teni & Kitty care about the treasure. Alex & Key have taken the time to spar, while Yuki & Elea are reading & checking maps in the shade. Mirixi is fighting a kraken with Rez & Jun. Lindy & Aarek are laughing as Cass, Switch & Fae play with the cannon. Feris & Jay are trying to hook up an antennae for internets. Qe, lena & Neri are playing with Mirix the dragon. Thomas & Terrence are planning their conquest of the high seas, while Enara conjures up pastries for everyone.]{Oh, see if I lay it out like this, I remember what I'm supposed to draw & it's easier to space things out.}
Then, of course there are novels by the amazing C.Moore that I haven't read, & that awesome anatomy tutorial that I need to find again, & 2 older HP volumes that I, sadly, seem to have lost & need to re- buy. And BZG v.5 is out. And Dad owes me a new copy of The Illustrated Man. And have you seen the 2 new shoes by Converse? One is the one I've been waiting for, knee- high high- tops with a zipper up the back & low-tops made with clear plastic. *Omnomnoming*
So anyway, what with this constant flow of ideas & action & literature, combined with my love of MapleStory every now & then, I always wonder why my friends think I always have spare time. It must seem that way because I will willingly put all my projects on hold for them. Or maybe because of by relaxed attitude?
It should be obvious that I haven't actually got all that time, because I would be a 4.0 GPA, perfect student, with all my homework done in time. But really, it's hard to concentrate on some irrelevant essay when I've got project spending to plan.
Anyways, Within Temptation's song 'Angels' just started on my iTunes & goddamnit, now I have to draw up my latest idea inspired by this wonderful song.
I get inspired waaay too easily.

If I were one of the judges I would have insisted that The vacuum bag and plastic cup dresses tied. They were both so incredibly awesome. (Also, I thought Stella should have been out. At least Asian Man tried)
That converse thing reminds me of a picture I saw of conjoined shoes and pants. They were awesome.

Oh, & weighters are really long rubber boots/ boot-pants used primarily for fly fishing, but occasionally for angling when the fisherperson cannot comfortably stand on the land & can therefore stand dry in the water.
